Writer's Block, huh..

Sometimes you just have nothing to write. You got bored or maybe busy doing something else. BUT BOREDOM I guess is the likeliest culprit because it loses the interest in you to write. You lost the subject in your mind and the idea you wanted to elaborate or expand. Overtime you forgot what to write and then bzzz. Sleeepy.

Almost a month now our former president Mrs. Corazon Aquino has died of colon cancer. She was famous for ousting the dictator in our country. In short because of her we are happily experiencing democracy now.

I was second year high then. From Feb 22-26 I read the news in a tabloid. I remember when she came to our town plaza everyone was EAGER to see her. Her stand to fight the dictator catapulted her to the presidency by way of a bloodless revolution.

When our history teacher asked each of us to choose a national hero i had a ready-made answer in my mind, her husband ninoy aquino who also sacrifice his life for us Filipinos, the reason why there's freedom in the country.

Cory is an emblem to the world. That's why the sea of support in her funeral is no surprise. And it feels so good to know that what she and her husband fought hasn't forgotten by everyone who stood beside since twenty three years ago.

I thought i would not be able to blog this after her death. I thought i would lost the idea when everyone stopped remembering cory. But when i started to scribble her contribution just could not be ignored much more if she influenced a lot of one's character.
