FOOD ON THE PLATE
When was the last time you didnt eat your meal? Perhaps you were on a diet. You were maybe busy then that you skipped your meal unintentionally. Or maybe you just want to fast. Whatever it is, one thing in common, maybe i could guess you felt hungry.
We are lucky enough to have our food on the plate. Others are extremely lucky because food are served to them. Some just get out from their home and take their food in their favorite resto with matching good music and candlelight. I'm sure all of us experience the sumptuous meal whenever we like it.
We can continue to feel full so long as we have not been stricken with poverty. We are grateful because we are blessed to have means to satisfy our needs. Unlike those who are less in life they have no food on their plates sometimes. Or most of the times they have nothing.
We crave for food when we are hungry. We can not perform well when our stomach is empty. Hunger transforms into anger. What's worse others do criminal acts because of hunger. Their means, though bad, could sometimes justify their ends.
Around us many are extremely poor with no food on their plate. At all. With simple preparation they are already satisfied. Or maybe bread with water they could not complain. With no means their lives just go wasted...
What if one day famine strikes us? The scenario is grim. But I'm pretty sure we wont become hungry if we continue to work harder to have moderate means so that we will always food on our plates. Our fortune lies critically on the attitude or outlook we have in life. Readiness to accept life's fortune prove to have a combatant effect to live Life fully even if we are already poor.
